She has keen interest in problems related to breast feeding & done a degree (International board certified lactation consultant) from USA in 2006. She is first one in Pune to have this qualification & wants to create awareness on this subject. She conducts regular antenatal classes at Shashwat hospital.

Educational Details:

Dr. Mangala Wani completed MD in Obstetrics & gynaecology in 1983 from Dr. V.M. Medical college Solapur. After that she worked in Ireland & united kingdom for a period of 9 years. There she completed her MRCOG from Royal college of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists United Kingdom in 1990. She also completed FRCOG in 2003.
Then she worked in Corniche hospital Abu Dhabi for 12 years which is an exclusive maternity hospital & tertiary referral centre conducting about 12000 deliveries per year. She has special interest in infertility, laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy & high risk pregnancy management.

Her services are available in Shashwat hospital on all week days between 9.30 am to 1 pm.
